A welcoming young family in Ladbroke Grove is seeking a proactive, flexible, and warm live-in Nanny/Housekeeper to help care for their home and children. The role will involve supporting their toddler (G18 months), a newborn (due in the summer), and maintaining a clean, well-organised household. The position offers a varied schedule split between nannying and housekeeping responsibilities, which will be done separately.

Responsibilities:

Housekeeping - usually mornings

• Daily cleaning of the home, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness.

• Tasks include tidying, laundry, ironing, and deep cleaning as required.

• Work alongside an extra cleaner if additional help is needed.

Nannying – usually afternoons

• Support the care of an 18-month-old toddler (attending nursery next year) and help with a newborn (maternity nurse will be in place for first few months too).

• Assist with playtime, activities, and nurturing developmental milestones.

• Flexibility to adjust hours and tasks as the children grow and routines evolve.

Additional Details:

• Proper cleaning across 4 floors (3 bedrooms; not a huge home).

• Travel with the family during summer (2 weeks in France) and Christmas (3 weeks in the U.S.).

• Animal-friendly, as the family has a pug (no dog walking required).

Requirements:

• Experience with toddlers and newborns.

• Energetic and proactive personality; comfortable managing a toddler’s active needs.

• Thorough and efficient with household cleaning.

• Flexible and adaptable to a dynamic schedule.

• Portuguese or Spanish speaker is a bonus as mum speaks both.

Location: Ladbroke Grove, London
Salary: £43,000 per year gross annual
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM with lunch break.

Start Date: Flexible (ASAP for the right candidate)

Accommodation: Private ground-floor room, transitioning to sole use of the floor and private bathroom soon. Separate entrance provided.
