Fantastic opportunity for a wonderful local Housekeeper who can drive, to work in Hambleden, Oxfordshire (near Henley), for a busy husband and wife and their two small dogs. Their daughter is now 21, so may just be there visiting on weekends.
Their previous Housekeeper was with them for 20 years and has finally decided to move on to pastures new. They are devastated, so would love to take their time to find the perfect fit to replace her.
Their main priority is getting someone who integrates well with their family and has similar energy, as well as being good at the job. They would love someone kind, professional, self-motivated and able to get on with things. They are happy for the new Housekeeper to work to their own schedule and timings and are very flexible.
The main house has 3 bedrooms and the guest cottage has 2 bedrooms.

Main duties to include:
• General deep cleaning and tidying of the house and guest cottage.
• Grocery shopping – the Housekeeper will be fully in charge of all grocery shopping and can go into the market in Henley on Thursdays as well.
• Laundry – washing clothes and bed linen and ironing.
• Cooking is not a prerequisite, but if they were happy to cook then it would be a bonus and she can add additional hours to make the role closer to full-time if required.
• Refresh flowers around the house and generally keep on top of supplies or anything that might need doing.
• Driving – running any errands such as grocery shopping.
• They do lots of corporate entertaining for her husband’s work, so someone who is happy to do some extra hours when needed and these will also be paid.
• Helping with the dogs if needed – feeding and walking.

Hours: 4 days per week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday – approx. 9am-3pm, but flexible and happy adapting hours to suit candidate. For example if cooking then maybe 9am-4/5pm.

Salary: Circa £22 gross per hour. For example, if working 7 hours per day, 4 days per week then gross annual salary of approx. £32k.

Location: Beautiful village of Hambleden, Oxfordshire, very close to Henley.
