A wonderful and kind family, based in Shepherds Bush and known to our agency, is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and reliable Nanny to join their household and provide care for their two children, B5 and G7. The family aims to cultivate a loving, caring, and calm home environment, encouraging their children to be kind, polite, inquisitive, and bright. They are looking for a nanny who will be a good fit for the whole family – someone who is professional in their childcare duties but also fun and engaging.

 

Responsibilities:

Childcare: 

• Providing attentive and nurturing care for the children.

• Engaging the children in age-appropriate activities, including play, outings, and educational pursuits.

• Supervising children's activities to ensure their safety and well-being.

• Assisting with homework and school projects.

• School pick-ups on certain days (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday)

• Preparing healthy and nutritious meals and snacks for the children.

• Maintaining the children's routines (e.g., bedtime, mealtimes).

 

Housekeeping (Light): 

• Operating the dishwasher.

• Going to the post office and running errands.

• Organising the linen cupboard.

• Doing the children's laundry.

• A bit of hoovering (as needed).

• Sorting kids' old clothes.

 

Additional Duties: 

• Any other reasonable tasks related to the children's care and the smooth running of the household.

 

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a nanny or childcare provider.

• A genuine love for children and a passion for their development.

• A calm, patient, and positive demeanour.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.

• Ability to work independently and use initiative.

• A proactive and flexible approach.

• Must hold a valid driving license.

 

Days/Hours are slightly flexible. Options below:

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 3:00 PM - 6:30 PM (or 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM if possible, to include kids' laundry)

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (to include school drop-off, daytime cooking, laundry, light housekeeping, and errands)

 

Salary: Circa £20 gross per hour / £30,000 gross annual (based on 30 hours per week)
