A warm, engaged and down-to-earth father in Hampstead is seeking a proactive and reliable Afternoon & Evening Nanny / Family PA to care for their two children, a 7-year-old girl and a 3-year-old boy. This is a long-term role for someone who genuinely wants to be part of the family’s rhythm and contribute to the children’s lives in a very meaningful way, after the children recently lost their mother.

The family already employs a trusted morning Nanny/Housekeeper (7am–12pm) and weekly professional cleaners, so your focus will be on supporting the children after school, managing their routines, and helping with some light housework and family admin. A confident cook and someone with good common sense, strong initiative, and a genuine passion for childcare will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities
• After-school pick-ups and escorting to activities (walking or by bike/e-bike preferred)
• Support with homework, reading, music (violin interest), and creative play
• Dinner prep and evening routines including bath and bedtime wind-down
• Light household help: emptying dishwasher, maintaining tidiness, helping where needed
• PA-style errands: e.g. buying gifts for birthday parties, booking activities, liaising with teachers
• Keeping a close eye on the children’s needs, personalities, and interests
• Supporting with cultural and identity care

Ideal Candidate
• Energetic and genuinely enjoys being active with children
• Warm, straight-talking and honest – someone who communicates openly and respectfully
• Organised, naturally helpful and keen to muck in when needed
• Experienced with ages 2–8 and confident managing two children independently
• Comfortable with flexible hours and willing to support the family’s needs as they arise
• Open to PA duties and happy to be a second pair of hands to the father
• A strong communicator in English (Spanish or other second language a bonus)
• Musicality or experience supporting music education (especially violin) is a plus
• Ideally someone who wants to be part of the children’s lives long-term

Location: Hampstead, London
Schedule: Monday to Friday, approx. 12pm – 8pm (with flexibility to start later if needed)
Children: G7 & B3
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
