With nearly two decades of experience working with high-profile and UHNW clients, Samantha brings extensive knowledge of private household recruitment, family support and senior staffing. Samantha and her team work discreetly and efficiently to place exceptional nannies, maternity nurses, rota nannies, mannies, house managers, governesses and private personal assistants for families in London, the UK, Europe, Dubai and internationally.

Samantha Thomas
Founder

After completing a degree at The University of Edinburgh, I began my career in talent management and television production, working closely with high-profile individuals and learning the importance of discretion, trust and attention to detail from the outset.
My natural efficiency, organisational skills and ability to manage complex demands led me into a career as an Executive Assistant, where I worked across a range of environments, including at a hedge fund in Mayfair. In these roles, I supported senior principals, handled highly confidential personal and professional matters, and regularly recruited both household and office staff on their behalf.
After having children of my own, I moved into freelance work, supporting a number of private, HNW and high-profile clients. Over the course of nearly two decades, I have organised the lives of individuals and families while continuing to manage recruitment, staffing and household support across multiple settings.
This experience ultimately led to the founding of Astrid & Flo, a boutique household staffing agency specialising in the placement of nannies, maternity nurses, rota nannies and senior household staff. Together with my team, I genuinely enjoy working with a wide range of families, personal assistants and household professionals, and we take great pride in achieving thoughtful, well-matched placements built on trust, compatibility and long-term success.
