We have an incredible opportunity for an experienced and dedicated Nanny who can DRIVE, loves to travel and would like to throw themselves whole heartedly into a lively new role. This fantastic, down-to-earth British family split their time between Ibiza (approx. 9 months) and Cape Town (approx. 3 months), with occasional trips to the UK. They have two children, a 6-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl, and are a fun, sociable young couple who want someone equally enthusiastic about the role and about enjoying all that Ibiza and Cape Town have to offer in their time off.
Their current nanny, who was also placed by Astrid & Flo, has been with them for the past 2 years and has become a valued part of the family, but is now moving on to a new opportunity. She adores the family and will be doing a handover with the new nanny when the time comes.

The Role
This is a long-term, live-in position with plenty of variety, fun, and travel.
• Core duties: General childcare and household duties related to the children, including their laundry, healthy food prep, school runs, educational support, play, dressing, and teaching.
• Light household help: Willingness to occasionally empty/load the dishwasher or do a small grocery shop.
• Travel: Must have a European or dual nationality passport (e.g. British/European) due to travel requirements.
• Routine: More structured in Cape Town (children attend school), while Ibiza is less routine with a more sociable lifestyle and lots of impromptu gatherings.
The family would love someone with teaching experience who understands children’s developmental stages and can help support their learning, especially as they are sometimes away from school for extended periods. Spanish language skills would be a bonus.

Hours & Schedule
• Core hours: 8am–8pm, 5 days per week
• Evenings: Be on call via monitor when parents are entertaining or out.
• Time off: A minimum of 2 set days/nights off per week, agreed in advance. There will also be opportunities for ad hoc extra time off, especially when the family travels without the nanny.
• Flexibility: Must be open to working weekends, bank holidays, and New Year (Christmas is given off).
• The family is also open to flexible arrangements, e.g. rota options of 3–4 months on, 1 month off, for the right candidate.

Lifestyle & Accommodation
• From March 2026: The family may rent a separate 2-bedroom apartment with communal pool for personal space and downtime when the Nanny needs.
• Sociable environment: Ibiza life includes parties and gatherings—when the family entertains, the nanny will sometimes take the children to friends or the rented apartment.
• The role is ideal for someone proactive, adaptable, and energetic, who can thrive in a lively household.

Candidate Profile
• Experienced EU driver (essential).
• Mature, energetic, proactive, and young at heart—someone who enjoys engaging fully with the children and family lifestyle.
• Teaching experience or knowledge of educational development (preferred).
• Spanish-speaking (bonus).
• Flexible, discreet, and professional.
• Someone who can handle occasional last-minute changes without stress.

Package
• Salary: £1200 per week gross, on a freelance basis

• Start date: January 2026, with flexibility to start earlier if needed. Trials will take place in Ibiza, beginning with a 24-hour trial and, if successful, potentially a longer trial period.
