The Role:
An excellent opportunity for a polished, experienced Butler to join a distinguished UHNW private household, travelling extensively alongside the family to their various residences. Reporting to the Head Butler and House Manager, this is a hands-on service role for someone who thrives on delivering exceptional, detail-oriented service wherever the family may be — whether at the London residence or abroad.

This role suits a Butler who is genuinely happy to travel at short notice, adapt quickly to new properties and routines, and maintain the same exacting standards of service regardless of location. Strong communication with the wider household team — even when working remotely from the main residence — is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver the smooth, professional service of all food & beverage requirements for the principals, wherever they are travelling
• Maintain food and beverage presentation to the highest standards across all locations
• Liaise with the Purchasing Department and local suppliers when travelling, managing stock, linens, cutlery and orders as needed
• Monitor and report on food and beverage stock at each property visited
• Understand and consistently cater to the food & beverage preferences of the principals, ensuring continuity of service across different homes
• Set up rooms, manage furniture placement, linen standards and inventories at each residence
• Pack, transport and care for any silverware, glassware or specialist equipment required for travel
• Communicate proactively with the Head Butler and House Manager to ensure consistency of standards across all properties
• Adhere strictly to house rules, fire regulations, safety standards and professional codes of conduct at every location

Travel & Flexibility:
• Extensive international travel accompanying the family — candidates must hold a valid passport with no travel restrictions
• Comfortable adapting to new properties, teams and routines at short notice
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and last-minute travel requirements
• Able to work both independently when travelling and collaboratively as part of the wider household team when based in London

Candidate Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Butler within a UHNW or private household
• Experience travelling with a principal family, or genuine willingness and adaptability to do so
• Impeccable attention to detail and a strong understanding of high-level service standards
• Professional, discreet and highly presentable, with a calm and adaptable approach under pressure
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, particularly when working away from the main household team
• Strong communication skills to ensure continuity of standards between properties
• Full, valid passport with no travel restrictions
