HOUSEKEEPER/DOG SITTER - AF189 -PUTNEY, LONDON

A professional and reliable Housekeeper/dog sitter is required for a couple living in a 3-bedroom home in Putney, with a boutique dog grooming business on-site and a small 1-bed guest house. This is a long-term, flexible role for someone who is highly organised, proactive, discreet, trustworthy and thorough in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and home management.

The role is primarily focused on deep cleaning, ironing, and home organisation, with potential for more hours/additional responsibilities such as shopping, occasional cooking, and assisting with other household tasks as needed.

A key requirement is dog sitting for two beautiful large dogs (Husky & Greyhound) when the owners are away, including overnight stays (though this is not frequent). The ideal candidate should be comfortable with large breeds, enjoy caring for animals, and be flexible with availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deep cleaning & general housekeeping – Ensuring the home is spotless and well maintained

• Laundry & ironing – Managing household laundry and maintaining clothing and linens

• Organisation – Assisting with tidying and structuring the home efficiently

• Shopping – Running occasional errands and stocking household essentials

• Dog sitting – Staying overnight to care for two large dogs when the owners are away (though not frequent)

• Cooking (bonus but not required) – Preparing simple meals if needed

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced housekeeper looking for a flexible, long-term role in a well-maintained private home.

Hours: Monday & Friday, 9am-4pm with option to add an additional day each week if the candidate requires. Days can also be flexible to suit the right candidate. 

Location: Putney, London

Salary: £18-£20 per hour gross.
